SRA Wins NT Police, Fire and Emergency Services Contract

SRA has won a significant applications development and maintenance contract for the Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services.

Locally based ICT company SRA Information Technology has won a two year deal with NT Police Fire and Emergency Services worth around $2 million dollars. Under this arrangement SRA will deliver Application Development and Maintenance, Technical Infrastructure Support, Project Management and Consulting services to the Department from 1st June 2007.

SRA’s team will develop, support and maintain both Microsoft and Oracle applications as well as providing specialised infrastructure support including administering and managing the various Business Application Servers.

SRA’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Steve Rowe, welcomes the growth opportunity this deal brings for the company. “This is a significant win for SRA, it has provided us the opportunity to continue to grow in the Territory. SRA currently employs around 25 people in its Darwin office and is expecting to employ at least five more highly skilled consultants throughout the life of the contract”.
