SRA Wins Telstra Business Awards

SRA Information Technology has won the 2007 Telstra Australian Business of the Year and the 2007 AMP National Innovation Award.

This follows on from wins in the Northern Territory in the State-based round of the awards, where SRA won the 2007 Hudson NT Business Award (51-100 employees), the 2007 AMP NT Innovation Award, and the 2007 Telstra NT Business Award.

SRA shared the 2007 Telstra Australian Business of the Year with gourmet food provider, Brookfarm, from New South Wales.

The 2007 AMP Australian Innovation Award was won for the EnviroSys product, which allows mining and energy businesses, along with governmental monitoring bodies and the infrastructure, water and agricultural industries to capture, monitor, alert, analyse and report on environmental effects. The software covers natural resource management, greenhouse gas emissions and other pollution monitoring activities.

Being awarded the 2007 Telstra Australian Business of the Year validates the years of research, development and belief that the SRA team maintained over the 15 years, and drives the confidence that SRA can be a niche international participant in the ICT world.
